You totally have to check out LeeLou Blogs... she does great work. She gives away free blog backgrounds, but also works on custom design for a fee (currently 5 month long waiting list, no longer taking new orders, but will let you know when she's all caught up!)
She did the custom design work The Meanest Mom's blog. VERY CUTE!
